
NEW AUDITION FORMAT
celebrating 10 years of Rhythm and Sole and 5 years of Youth Tap Crew!!
Join Tampa Bay Taps for this one day Audition Workshop!
Dancers auditioning for Rhythm and Sole or the Youth Tap Crew will get to experience ‘a day in the life’ as a company member, learning THREE combinations to perform for the Director. Over the course of three separate class times with different instructors; dancers auditioning will learn from the Director, Ashlyn Bolton as well as Tampa Bay Taps’ artists Emma Bolton and Jared Stone.
By the end of the workshop, dancers auditioning will get a brief review of the combinations and then perform them in smaller groups for the Director.
Fees for this Audition Workshop is all inclusive to the audition and three technique classes. To attend, each dancer’s fee is $45.
Dancers 7-13 with 3-5 years of tap experience should participate in the Intermediate Class.
Dancers 12+ with 6 or more years of tap experience should participate in the Advanced Class.
No matter a dancer’s age, they will be placed in the company appropriate to the dancer’s ability at the time of auditions.
Please arrive with ample time to fill out a short form between 12:30-1:00pm. Dancers can pre-register at the link in bio or register the day of.
Dancers should dress in something they can move in and are confident in. Bring tap shoes.
Auditions take place at All American Dance Factory on August 15th. 1:00-5:30pm

️Rhythm and Sole is a pre-professional to professional level company that prides itself in providing a family environment for its dancers. Dancers ages teen through adult emphasizing on a shared passion. Through performances and events the company prepares dancers for professional readiness, and adaptability as dancers. R&S dancers get to work exclusively with guest teachers, collaborate with musicians, perform 15+ shows per season, along with learning new choreography and honing their technical skills. R&S continues to be a drama free zone while nurturing mature dancers.

️The Youth Tap Crew is a company that focuses on dancers’ adaptability and readiness to further their dance education. This Youth group starts at age 7 and is a family friendly environment. Through choreography and techniques, YTC dancers have the opportunity to perform 15+ shows per season while honing their performance skills and working as a team. Expectations of YTC members include being mature, hard working individuals who are passionate about dance.
